Time for another Looking Back post, this time looking at Epcot at Walt Disney World in 1995. By this time, the name had changed from EPCOT Center to just plain, mostly lower case Epcot. Changes were underway in the park as things were starting to change direction somewhat.
These photos were from two different visits in 1995, one in April and one in August. And apparently on both of those visits I spent all of my time in World Showcase, because I have no photos at all from Future World for either of those trips.
Time for another Looking Back adventure, this time around from the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in August of 1995. Hard to believe that was now 20 years ago! Let’s take a look around and see what we can see.
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom! You know the old saying that you can’t see the forest for the trees? Well here, you almost can’t see Cinderella Castle for all of the trees in the Central Plaza (also known as the Hub).
The Looking Back series returns with a look at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World from 20 years ago, with these photos from April 1995. I was there as a chaperon on a high school band trip, enjoying the lighter crowds and slightly cooler weather. New Tomorrowland was still new, and lots of other things were happening all over the park. Let’s take a look!
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom, as we arrive by ferryboat across Seven Seas Lagoon.
